Hey man your car sounds awesome. I have a zx2 also and was thinking of doing the same thing. How did u do it? You said you had no muffler or did you switch to a glass pack.

@wahdebird I literally just removed the muffler and welded a pipe in its place, then slapped a tip on it. Thats all no glass pack or anything. Its really easy to do.

any change in gas milege  and does it still run good.

@ivivaisanti No change in gas mileage and it still runs good. Nothing really changed at all. Just sounds better to my ears

What size pipe did you replace it with? Sounds good.

I have a 1999 ford escort ZX2 and the motor is burned up and so is the tranny so I'm switching it to Manual and putting in a  Ford focus svtmotor so it will be stocked supercharged. I think it will turn out nice. I'm putting on Green underglow lights also and the interior will be Black and lime green. I think it will be kick ass.

I have a ZX2 but it's a piece, it's my first car, my dad gave it to me but for some reason the engine shakes the car and when I turn the A/C on the car starts rattling hella bad, I'm not really a ZX2 fan but should I get a custom exhaust pipe even though it's an automatic?

Thats sounds amazing man wish mine sounded close to that look up "zx2 side pipe" all i did was take the muffler off and run it through the sign
