Bob Jones of Alaska demonstrates the short take-off and landing capabilities of his Zenair STOL CH701 light sport utility aircraft, on skis. This video was taken while testing micro vortex generators (VGs) on the bottom side of the elevator (horizontal tail), demonstrating the outstanding slow flight characteristics of the two-seat aircraft, equipped with a 100-hp Rotax 912 ULS engine.
