Mike from The Jambros vacuuming our Wurlitzer 200a. It's been crackling very bad lately, and we were told to clean out all the dust.

Check us out at our ignored blog where we podcast our tunes -

Recorded on July 08, 2007 using a Flip Video camcorder. Recorded in low light in a basement.

  • Hey! Thanks for the comment. Actually, since this video we did take it completely apart - and there was all the good stuff. And no, I guess I'm not sure whether it's a 200 or 200a.

We're quite new to this....and still had some crackling problems after getting at the reeds and pickup area.

  • Fun stuff there.....If you remove the amp rail & keys you'd freak at how much dust hides under there. (and other things) The critical area is the reeds/pickups though. Are you sure that's a 200A & not a 200?....my 200a has the speakers mounted in the plastic lid.
