I've never understood why people talk about music being too loud, but they never talk about any of the other noise in life that's too loud. Airplanes, ambulance sirens, car horns, those are all just as loud as rock music.
Oh, and by the way, classical musicians wear earplugs, because any of a symphony orchestra can damage your hearing.

I remember seeing this when it was originally aired and I actuallu worried about my love of BOC making me deaf someone- now some 40 live BOC shows later my hearing was just tested and is actually perfect.

@acefrehley2001 I was thinking 60Min show, but must be said, the iPod craze sparked this up again, 90db is correct in terms of prolonged exposure, not good. Wear foam earplugs to shows, kids!!! DO IT!
