    Being a member of the recent generations, (who are now the pretentious 13-16 as this comment is written) it is a shame that this type of music died down. It is a shame my peers (who are older than me) don't even recognize these artists.

    Music today (the recent music) is a hodgepodge of hit or miss, and are filled with a ton of misses. Music back then just ment more and had more emotion.

    Plus... you could take them seriously.
