We are always so busy with the things of are everyday lives, sometimes we forget about what really matters. Most of us worship our television, social networks, and are consumed by our jobs and problems.

Sometimes it takes tragic events to get our attention that there is a greater meaning to life. We only get one life, and no one knows how long that life will be. We must do our best to be our best for are friends, family, and loved ones. Most of all we should do our best to please God and put him first in everything that we do. Not just going to a church every week and pretending to have some great relationship with God, but a sincere, genuine, heart felt love that is above all other things.

To be totally honest my 6 year old nephew just died in my hands last night from a sudden asthma attack. We prayed and cried in desperation. He was so special and had so much in-stored for his life. His life makes me reflect my own and I am determined to be the best man I can be for his sake and mine. We don't have time to play with life. We should fill our lives with genuine love and service to God and others. God has given us all power under heaven and earth. Maybe if we could start trusting in him and loving one another we could release that power to heal and save lives like Devon.

Devon, I know you were a great son of God. Rest in God's arms forever nephew. I will see you again... I love you.
