Miscellaneous Refuge

"This was a light-hearted group number and a warm, fuzzy way to end the show." - Regina King of Dance Informa Magazine.

This work is not for groundbreaking artistry or a political statement. "Miscellaneous Refuge" is a medley of choreography that represents why dancers love what they do. At the time the work was composed, June 2010, I was in a period where I felt I should leave dance and pursue other occupations. This group of people, has reminded me that we dance for our feelings and passion within ourselves.
