Sipjin stands for ten symbols of longevity, which are Sun, Moon, Mountain, Water, Stone, Pine tree, Herb of eternal youth, Turtle, Deer, and Crane. This Poomsae represents the endless development and growth by the basic idea of the ten symbols of longevity and the decimal system.

  • it is not the sound effect ... if it is executed correctly, the clashes between your hands and feet with the clothes produces sound.

  • i think you have to know this form for your master test

  • very nice forms series.

  • isnt this for the 5th dan black belt?

  • gotta love the sound effects!

  • i think dan ranks is only for people above 16. theres special ranks below 16 i think their called pooms. but dont worry, when you reach sixteen your poom rank will translate into a dan rank. its a little matter

  • Can i ask you a question? When i get black belt i know im going to get the junior black belt... Do i get dahn in junior black belt or is it only dahn in the 16+ black belt?

  • man I wish I could hit so hard the wind made noises that aren't unison, relative to my striking

  • Poomsae only means form and there are many forms. But for Kukkiwon there are 8 for the color belts called Taeguk, and then 1 for each dan, which have their own names and are not numbers like the Taeguk. So 17 in total if you count that way.
