That would have awesome if the Leafs took this series and won the cup vs the Habs, so that you have the Blue Jays winning the World Series, and the Maple Leafs winning the Stanley Cup in the same frickin' year!

Why are Leafs fan still bitter over this.
Why do they assume that if the penalty was called against Gretzky they would have won game 6????
Plus, I don't think the Habs would have went down easy against the Leafs.

A Toronto/Montreal Finals would have been EPIC. Those ratings would have been WAY higher.
With a bit of luck, Toronto would have had back to back Finals appearances in 1993 and 1994. They choked in 1993, combined with Fraser's non-call. In 1994, they had a rough 6 game series with Chicago, and had to win games 6 and 7 just to beat San Jose. They had no energy left whatsoever against Vancouver. Toronto was lucky just to win game 1.
