Stornoway's first ever drag racing event

A collection of short videos I took inbetween taking photos. The event was held over a quarter mile on a taxiway of Stornoway airport and raised £6,229 for local charities.

You can tell it was a bit windy and cold that day, but thankfully no rain!

Fastest quarter mile time for the day was 12.09 secs. by Donnie Campbell in a Subaru Impreza WRX STi 2.5 Prodrive. It's at the end of the video racing a Porsche 911.

@andythesoupdragon Sorry, need to renew my Flickr Pro membership! There was only one Porsche, that 911. Yes, it's a regular yearly event, now with proper starting lights and timing gear, so come bring your 928 and have a go!
