@rustyschackleford100 Please, R. Lee Ermy is a wuss next to Sargent Major Plumley. I meet the man at Fort Benning Georgia, 1965 at jump school. No, I didn't go with them to La Drang, I would have been my honor. I went in six weeks later. This man invented hard core. He's a Veteran of WWII, Korea and Vietnam, Made all four combat jumps in WWII with the 82nd Airborne, two in Korea. Ermy only dreams he was as hard as Sargent major Plumley.
