It looks like the car DVR I bought has very low resolution - it seems to be 320x240. All other settings seem to be interpolated. Here is the night time test at 1280x960. It looks very bad! Never buy this camera:

  • it's in the night and it's not a professional camcorder because there is not optical zoom, stabilizer and others features , and I think your windscreen is dirty , this is why the pictures is so bat

  • @tunkunrunk There is no zoom at all, the focus is fixed. The lens angle is 120 degrees. But I think the problem is low-resolution matrix what is actually NOT 1280x960 pixels. The windscreen was clean, it was wet snow and the wipers worked.
