  • Gasp! What a wonderful, truly BAROQUE production. WHO ARE THESE PEOPLE????

  • I agree that this is a wonderful production. Le Poème Harmonique deserves to be supported by sales of its DVD. Unfortunately, right now it looks like there's only one available through Amazon, for $93. I wish there were a poll on this page so we could send a message to Alpha Productions to reprint this issue! French Baroque music is glorious, and Moliere is supreme--what a combination.

  • @romino707 Thank you for the information!

  • @samizdrama Apparently you can get it on DVD on ArkivMusic for 26 dollars. It's on sale from the original $30 right now

  • La scène est éclairée à l'ancienne : avec des bougies ! Les voix sont mélodieuses ! C'est magnifique !

  • LULLY, beauté et virtuosité.

  • It´is a wonderful spectacle. The people involved in this project has taken a great risk making it. Like spectator I enjoyed a lot and learnt about how our ancestors made theater. I felt like if I was in the 17 century. The singers, musicinas, dancers and actors makes a magic combination. THANKS A LOT FOR EVERY MEMBER OF THIS COMPANY!

  • @marisbosquet Christophe Rousset et Les Talents Lyriques

  • @ishi330 Great! I'd love it if someone would repost this clip with English subtitles.

  • @davehshs The DVD does have subtitles in several languages, including English, Japanese, etc.

  • @samizdrama No doubt sales would increase if this production included subtitles in English (the closest thing we have now to a universal language). No offense, Francophiles, just a little reality check.

  • @AnimaMiaPerdona Oui, c'est fantastique d'un bout à l'autre! [Yes, it is, dear.]
