you've got to be blind to not realise that the ships we earthlings use are quite heavily inspired by WW2 warships from Destroyers and subs to Carriers and Battleships.

love the look on them.

the long gunbarrel turrets look way better than the ones with just holes and also seems to really be able to do some serious damage.

Remind me to build an Battleship/Carrier in space based on WW2 ships.
