It's perfectly legal to drive a left hand drive vehicle in Italy if it meets collision standards. This is true in most European countries.

In Italy driver side is on the left. All the cars's plate have the "I" of Italy on them.And you can see an italian police car at 1'41" with the word "Carabinieri" on it . Some lacks of culture happen.Bacci
