Hi, im 80% sure that if you want bigger muscles you should go for a bit heavier weights than usual, do explosive lifts, and a slow controled movement on the way down. Also, varying your work outs is great for shocking the muscles, making them think "oh, a different way of lifting! I got to get stronger to be able to perform these" .. kinda :) atleast so i've heard. ;) Also I've been working out for 2½ a half year but I dont like those big muscles. I like my body. Defined and strong muscles.

u do low reps right? try high reps then. minimum 10 max 15.

hey wwetna124 i'm actually facing the same problem.if i were you i would do different variations. unfortunately i haven't found that many variations of what i do, so i've hit the plateau, but yeah, that might help, though remember i'm facing the same problem so hopefully you already have an answer from someone with more experience

what you need to do is add more weight and do fewer reps.
I saw a good informative video about biceps exercises yesterday but i have forgotten which one it was...
I'm convinced this guy is the Punisher, or maybe Max Payne in street clothes.

I've been working out for the last 2 years and I've seen improvments. my biceps is a good decent size. I move up in weight but they seem to not get bigger, which is what I want. I think it is called the plateau effect. Now do you know anything about that? and if so doing these different workouts will give me more resolts results? thanks.
