The Unseen Part 1

I lost my Sony Vegas so Thanks to @Jemilight for making the video for me :) also thank you for the welcoming messages! I appreciate it so much :) I know this is not a Jemi story but give it a chance. I always want to write a fantasy book so yeah.

Chapter 1: Sister's Bond.

The leaves rustled under my booted feet as I walked along the path of the forest, my sister was walking slightly behind me, and her petite body was trying to catch up with me. I could almost hear a faint sound of her heavy breathing from my behind.

"Can you at least slow down?" My sister, Mila asked. Her heavy breathing is now noticeable.

"But we must hurry" I reasoned, not slowing down a bit.

She let out a sigh. "We don't know for sure, if we are going to see it anyway" She remarked.

"But what if we did see it?" I asked. The thought of actually seeing it made me shudder in excitement.

"It's only a legend, nothing more" She said.

With that comment I stopped walking and I turned around to face her. "A lot of people had seen it" I said trying to prove it. Yes I talked to people who had witnessed it.

"You shouldn't believe in everything that you hear, everything is not always what they said it to be." She explained. "People lie, Anika" She added.

I shook my head and starts to walk away. Mila is only a year older than me. She's my only sister but even though she and I have nothing in common when it comes to our personality. She's more realistic and uptight while I, on the other hand have a huge imagination. I believe that this world is not what it seems to be and that there's more out there that an eye could see. I just have not figured it out yet.

"There it is!" I shouted as we approached the legendary lake. Mila followed.

We pushed through the branches and high grass along the way. As soon as we got there both of us were at awe at the sight.

"It is beautiful" I said proudly, my eyes are now fixed at the lake in front of me. The moonlight reflected through the water and it is glistening like tiny crystals. I was mesmerized by it's beauty.

The legend says that this only happens every Fifty years. The lake is usually dry throughout the year but somehow every Fifty years. The exact moment. The lake looks unrecognizable because of how beautiful it is. But not only that it was also said that if you seek adventure, a path will open up before you. sadly no one had seen the path yet nor witnessed it. To be honest, a part of me wants to see it.
