@RealTime88 Thanks . I think we are all lucky to experience R.E.M's music live, dvd, youtube, radio whatever means. They did it right without getting same old style over and over.I have not got their new CD yet but I thiink it's time.

@bizzyf You are very lucky I am going to buy their new album Collapse Into Now at Starbucks tomorrow for my birthday. Please tell Michael I've been a fan since I first heard Everybody Hurts on a TV show when I was a teenager. I think R.E.M. is one of the greatest bands of the 20th Century and I HOPE the guys tour in 2012 if only for 3-4 months. I would love for them to come to Germain Arena in Florida where I live to see so I can see them live in person. REM Forever!!!!!!!

I have known Michael since we were kids, before R.E.M. I was at the taping of this show. I am still amazed at the energy and quality of their songs musicianship after all of these years on the road. Thanks R.E.M. for keeping good, no great, rock-n-roll alive!
I recommend buying the DVD as they have remastered the audio into new formats for higher fidelity. Excellent. Bizzy from Austin
