  • Wow! She could actually pronounce it! Thats awesome! Thats the cutest thing.

But hay Mrityunjaya Mantra is not a meditation chant, as such its from Rigveda Verse mandala-7 sukt-59 mantra-12.

It is used by the great kshtriyan kings just before war and on sastrapuja(worship of weapons). Its not a meditation chant! Its asking the God of death SIVA to heal the wounds and destroy the bonds that make us cling on to earth, so that we could make war and be immortalized!

  • Thank-you for this wonderful information! I did not know this! Om

  • @iamthebreathoflife

I got it a Golden Bridge Yoga, LA, You could maybe get it in their store or call them? We called it the Cucumber Mantra (hehe) b/c here is the translation: We hail the fragrant Three-eyed One who nourishes [all] and increases the [sweet] fullness of life. As the cucumber is liberated from captivity [from its stem], may we [also] be liberated (mukshiya) from death (mrityor)not for the sake of immortality (maamritaat).

  • Hello. I absolutely love your video, and have been trying to find that track. I have the artist's name, the mantra, etc ... but it seems to be totally unavailable on-line. Any idea where I could get it?

  • This is called SANSKARS.

  • Commendable, I am touched. I always believed that the child should be taught good values as early as possible. This MANTRA, mentioned in Rig-Veda, is Very powerful and anyone who attains sidhi in it gets tremendous spiritual powers. There's something MYSTIC about this King of mantras.

  • very cute!

  • another Dharma in the making.

  • I just saw this comment, so sorry it took me so long to comment back, it is Paramhansa Yogananda, Yes, he is on my alter, and she loves him very much! Om

  • @iamthebreathoflife I am curious to know about the photograph which was with your daughter, is it you? because though it is not very clear it seemed to me like photograph of great yogi paramhansha yogananda.please confirm or correct.
