@AmericaLoudNClear Well, I think the situation which has developed is just a little bit more complicated than your implicated synopsis. Crime went up because people in general became more self-centered and pleasure seeking, ie. that is the immoral revolutiong of the sixties and the ensuing addicitons to sex and drugs. What are entitlements? Entitlements are what the younger generation believe they deserve because their parents were to busy enjoying their sex and drugs to teach them differently.

i wonder if joan and bob hung up together after or before these shows at the white house

I remember when America was a white nation, a nation that shot from no where to be the greatest nation on earth, a nation that won WWII. Then we opened our doors to 3rd world dummies and crime went up and standards went down. Entitlements went through the roof and now we are bankrupt of not only money but of morals.

@ugha323a AZ is in a mess, that's for sure. Speaking of equal ... which side of the scales are you sitting on? A little adjusting often helps balance things out. Sorry, I haven't heard of any recent hippy sightings, but can I buy you a Yoo-Hoo?
-
Donna, keep drinking the yoo-hoo, while you are worried about being treated 'equal' us here in AZ are getting MURDERED, RAPED, PILLAGED and plundered, and you think this is 'equal?'
WAKE UP!!! WAR IS ALL OVER OUR BORDER AND YOU HIPPY NUTS DO NOTHING.

To see Joan Baez singing this song at The White House these many years later is a testimony in itself. Full circle met and The Civil Rights Movement will continue until ALL PEOPLE are treated equally. And thank YOU, Joan Baez, for having the courage to gently remind our President we don't need more war.
