@TTmaniax Good heavens! You mean this song was actually written by AGUSTIN LARA! I thought an Italian composer wrote this song. I APOLOGIZE to the Veracruzanos, better yet, to all Mexicans, for this grave injustice...considering GRANADA is one of the best quasi-classical songs EVER written! GRANADA has withstood time and its appeal is universal, transcending cultures and generations. I was about 5 or 6 yrs old when I started to pine for this song. It does have a powerful "SPELL"!

I love love this piece by this talented composer, Agustin Lara, I did not know he was the autor!!! this son reminds me a dear friend from Granada living in E.U who used to cry homesick when we listen to this song> :(
