DJ Flip - It Takes Two digital turntable routine on the Denon DN-S3700's and Rane TTM-57SL

Messing around on the Denon DN-S3700 cd turntables and the Rane TTM-57SL.

This video may sound a little distorted because I was filming with a point and shoot camera, but then again I was just messing around and thought I would share this routine with you...which I was making up along the way..;)

Hey Dj Flip great video. I'm thinking about purchasing a pair of 3700's myself. I have a TTM57SL but I was wondering If I'd also need an SL box to use the platter to scratch or could i just run the 3700's through the TTM and use Serato's timecode discs to scratch. Is this possible or would I need an SL box as well?

@XxNaughtyDogzXx - I'm actually using Scratch Live in this video. You can just plug the 3700's into the mixer and use it like any other cd player with Serato as long as you have the time code discs. You don't need the SL box since you already have the TTM-57SL. PLUS... the great thing now with the 3700's is the fact it now has "HYBRID MODE" where you would operate on the midi source of the player without the midi cable hook up and run unlimited Serato time code!

@XxNaughtyDogzXx - The hybrid mode allows the time code to be installed in the unit itself so you won't even need the time code discs.

@DJFlipEntertainment I'm considering switching to Serato from Traktor for this very reason. Any advice on whether it's jumping ship? I'm using a pc laptop so I'm getting some occasional audio problems due to cpu load w/ Traktor 2 and an upgrad to Scratch is going to cost me money anyways.

im looking to get pretty much your exact setup but my question is it possible to have the 3700 in hybrid mode hooked up to the Rane mixer and how do you go about hooking this up.
