LOL We all know your love and passion for the Zoo and the animals and I doubt anyone would assume anymore than that but yeah we all know how people misinterpret our words and good intentions.

He is young, but I am not sure of his exact age. His silverback seems much more silver than it was a few months ago.
I will ask how old he is when I am at the Zoo over the weekend.

They are Beautiful and love watching all of them, I was raised in the Philadelphia Zoo when it was a real zoo

@Swedetres Yes, I remember that wonderful time. Not enough people have noticed the changes because they have happened so gradually, but even people who have noticed and don't like the changes are not speaking out about it enough. And I think another part of the problem is that none of the people who currently run the Zoo know or understand how different the Zoo was or what made it so special.

How old is he? Even with the silverback he looks a bit young.

According to Zoo staff, he is ten years old, and has about four more years to grow to maturity.
They believe he will grow to be larger than the other silverback at the Zoo, who is already full grown.

5*s What a totally gorgeous Gorilla and what a great size on him. I've always felt they had good reasoning and responses similar to most humans and then again I've seen some a lot more intelligent than some. LOL They are beautiful though.

I agree with all that you said - especially that intelligence comparison part!
Of course, maybe it's just that not all humans always show how intelligent they are, whereas animals usually do.
Oh dear - I guess I should repeat here that I don't work for the Zoo and the opinions I express on my YouTube channel are my own and don't reflect the opinions of anyone at the Zoo!
