It's fundamental to all humans to want to live, and men certainly take "successful" into account, but our flaw is that most of us are too wrapped up in looks, but then chicks can get off as much as they want, we have ammo. In any case this has been flipped around with the recent influx of man-whores, a woman has a valid reason (children) which men also have this but we don't have to carry the little tyke for a 9inja and eat clam strips, dill pickles, and fucking ice cream.

It's a part of reality though. We live in a competitive world in which corruption is soulfully derived from capitalism itself. If money meant less, money wouldn't be the "it" factor in decisions like that. The typical stereotype is that the the man is responsible for making the money for the food they can put on the table. :) Money "seems" to be happiness in today's society, because cost of living is much harder to maintain than it was years ago. Hidden behind the mask capitalism wears is greed.

I could get some hate for this, but in some cases women take those 5-6 seconds purely to decide "attractiveness" based on how much money the guy has lol!

Well in that case the music is about taste only, which is harder to track down. I'm not saying all women are overly analytical, I knew a lot of whiz bang male programmers. I always thought because I feel like I'm stuck in a nightmare of the black chick who goes getto, and that whole right brain left brain thing... but it makes sense, guys take 2-3 seconds to determine attractiveness, women take 5-6 seconds, women must process to much info, the effect on emotions could be rather dramatic.

"all" may be a bit abusive of a word to use lol. I know attractive "chicks" that are also "hot" but listen to other kinds of music. Networking is annoying though. And btw, I also play guitar. (It's scientifically proven to be good for the mind, but that's not why I chose to play guitar when I first started.)
