Unfortunately Pakistan has created a culture of hatred in their country that is coming back to haunt them. Arun Shourie gave examples of teaching urdu alphabet to children in Pakistan school books: it shows the letter kaf and the word kafir and a picture of a hindu priest, and zeem se zalim and a picture of a Sikh. When this is what is being taught to the kids you can imagine what that would do when they grow up. I am all for Pakistanis being proud of their country, but don't teach hatred.

@ad17939 i dont know from where did you get this facts. I did get my education in Punjab Pakistan and i never heard and saw any hatred against Sikhs or stuff like Q sai Kafir....Besides atleast people in Punjab know that Sikhs were from them as well and they are the same people and speak same Language so how they can be like that. I think the things you are referring to may be an isolated event but i have never seen it in any Government schooling and in text books .

very very nice. this person should be made incharge of educational establishment of pakistan especially the history department. He has ability and knowledge to change the adulterated textbooks which make poor innocent paki kids fanatics by the time they clear 7th or 8th standard =( .... thanks Mr. Sethi for speaking the truth .. looks like some things in indian textbooks needs to be corrected too =(

I didnt see the complete show whilst from the 20 mins I saw I feel Mr Sethi is adding more fuel to ambiguity than clearing the air of disinformation. Pakistan was coined by Ch Rehmat Ali in 1933 not 1940 in his famous pamphlet "Now or Never". Moreover Lahore resolution started from 22nd and not 21st March. I think Mr Sethi needs to refurbish his knowledge on history. He has just copy pasted all from KK Aziz's book without going to the book throughly.

(3) If we take the first letter of the provinces in north western provinces and "tan" take we from Balochistan then it gives a meaningfull name to the proposed state for muslims. It means name of Pakistan was given by Allama Iqbal not Ch. Rehmat Ali. Years later when Ch. Rehmat Ali announced "Now or never" his writting then the rest of three students who signed the circular letter "now or never" contadicted it. (2) It was the time 1932 when Allama Iqbal was in London for participating in Round Table Conferrence and three years before He had given the idea of seperate Muslim land on the basis of seperate muslim nationality in his Allahabad. Abdul Waheed Khan in his book "Tasuraat Aur Tasawaraat" writes "When Iqbal came to Bhopal in 1935 he asked him about the explanation of word "Pakistan" then iqbal told him that same question was asked by Ch. Rehmat Ali in london and Iqbal replied.....next 3

The word "Pakistan" was not given by Ch. Rehmat Ali and article "Now or never" had also been not written by him, it was actually Allama Iqbal's writting and was distributed by four undergraduate students named Muhammad Aslam Khattak, Sheikh Muhammad Sadiq,Ch.
