Hi
I have recently installed this chip but cannot get it to function.
No matter how many times i try i cannot access the game cube menu via the eject button to set up.
The machine works fine when using origial games so im guessing its installed correctly. Also the machine is on version 4.3e Could this be a problem.
Hope you can help cos im getting no help from anywere atm.
Cheers rich

different chips are for different wii chip sets. currently the wii is made with 7 different kinds of em. also they have different features like region freeing your console and being able to play backups. most chips need soldering to get placed in but the wasabi dx requires none of that at all. its easy to configure and gets the job done. its the chip im ordering.

Installing the modchip seems more easy than putting wii apart.
Drivekey is alot better

We have used both WasabiDX and DriveKey and found both of them to be good modchips with similar features. It's basically personal preference.

hi, i was wondering if the wasabi mod chips work on all chipsets. if not then what chipset would work for the wasabi zero?

Hi n3sko21,
The wasabi zero wont work with D3/D2nothing or D2E consoles with Epoxy glue.
The Wasabi DX works with all versions (at the time of writing this 12th May 09) including D3/D2nothing or D2E consoles with Epoxy glue.
