wow I tried for years to find the solution... wow...

@Ferret2YourFace There are also different strategies, so if you get bored once you learn one way to solve it, you can try to figure out another way.

thanks :D +1 suscriber

Thanks for the reminder of how to do this. Someone showed me how to do this when I was about 10 (over 50 years ago) and I could only remember the last step.

the opening words are inspiring, especially with the dramatic pause and your arms are so youthful.

He found the solution with the trail and error method, and finally got the greatest solution. That's why he's so old!
JUST KIDDING!
Great solution, thx for providing. Still trying to find out the mathematical algorithm in it tho.
I never played this game before but Im wondering...doesn't it get boring eventually? It looks like if someone finds out that a certain pattern wins then that person would just be going through the motions the next time he plays

@Ferret2YourFace The game sits around mostly as a decoration so we don't play it often. When we come back to it we've forgotten the sequence so we recorded our friend who always remembers the solution. Yes, it would be boring played time after time.
Thanks for your interest

Dr. G was visiting us when his son taped this. Sorry I don't know if he developed the solution.
