I know what your saying. Like, instead of it always being Ice, have like...Water? Or like plants growing out of everywhere? Something like that. Make each game have it's own version of the otherworld. James Sunderland FTW!

I hope they decide to remake 2 3 4 and 0 because that would be awsome! But if they re-remade all of them like in 2 instead of ice again make like something else i dont know im rambling on.

i think this whole "reimagining" thing will shoot themselves in their asses... cause look at the trailer... there are many things that wll oviously fail! all the characters have glasses now ! wtf nerd style or what? and sheryl??? did u see her? see her fishy eyes??? like a comic? damn thats weird... not to mention the ice... they will never make games as good as SH 1-3... i think these good old times are over... but how can CAPCOM make such a good job with every resident evil masterpiece???

actually, the blodd and rust were only meant to be in ONE game. silent hill shows itself differently to the different people who enter it.

and all those things you just mentioned, those are all the preset cliches the series has set for itself now, and they are the reasons 4,5, and 0 all sucked MAJOR balls. team silent,climax, and Double Helix all didnt no how to continue to move the series forward properly.

now,however, the series wil finaly move on from all those cliches.

no actually SH 5 and SH 4 was a piece of shit... not scary at all... but 1-3 couldnt play it alone ... and this will too, suck! climax don´t know anything about SH... and they will spoil the first SH with their "reimagining". I mean look at the ICE! SH does not have any "ICE" it has blood and rust and damn scary other things like corpses and wheelchairs and baby screams and and and... ICE??? who´s the Last Boss??? SANTA???

Agreed the new sh teams aren't playing their cards right. They're taking a whole bunch of random ideas out of their asses instead of making a solid idea for a game

I know for a fact there's other game developers out there who could save this franchise

This idea i find is ridiculous. It's a really bad idea for a game and i doubt it'll get a good review when it comes out
