These people are ex-shah supporters who ruled through terror and oppression and owned 90% of the country's wealth while the rest of the country lived in poverty-They do really care for the people of Persia only that they want the property they stole from their own people back-They sold out and allowed the country to become a puppet of the US government-They are in no position to judge the current government in Persia

A fact is that several US agencies did polls in Iran 3-weeks prior to the 2009-elections, finding these predominately young responders surprisingly unrestricted in their opinions. The results of these polls turned out to be within respective concurrence of each others findings, they projected at least a 2-to-1 victory for Ahmadinejad.

This poll throughout Iran more thorough than limit of the wealthy of key city, that of course would speak for Mousavi, but the greater population of both cities and countryside were those behind Ahmadinejad, and only agents like the US National Endowment of the Democracies, that is a well known tool for overthrowing governments... and yet $millions failed.

Your recollections of Iranian recent history is very naive. The revolution was neither the will nor the act of the people of Iran. A good read of US- foreign policy during Carter is recommended.

@EspahbodSurna The US-Gov in 1953 used people like 2009 rioters to overthrow Iran Democracy and reinstall the Shah and SAVAK Secret Police. SAVAK tortured and murdered people for 26-years under the Shah, until 1979 in last stage of cancer the Shah fled (died 1980 of cancer in Egypt). Iran population in 92% Muslim, apparently there are still people the CIA can (use) in Iran.
