I'm a little younger but dude... Stick with that shit... I started at age 22, am 23. Mostly I play my own music... But I am capable of playing some Peterson (not this) Rach and Prokofiev.
That said, my own music is the shit...
Point being I started late as well but I am working really hard and making lots of progress... At least 2 hours a day, 5 isn't unusual.
Stick with it, when your 33 you'll be rippin' it.

Beautiful interpretation and wonderful dynamics - I just started teaching myself piano (at age 30)because of the inspiration Mr. Peterson, Mr. Tatum, and Mr. Garner gives me everytime I hear their pieces. If one day I can be one-third of pianists they all were, I'll be elated.

I transcribed melody and chords from Oscar's recording and improvised that arrangement. I like to do that a lot. That way, i can put a lot of myself into it.
