Why does everyone insist that when he performs he's drunk or high or something? Maybe that's just him getting into the performance, his stage persona. Have you ever seen artists like John Mayer live? He looks dumb as hell but that does not mean he's intoxicated, that's just how he looks when he performs. I highly doubt he gets wasted every show. Any ways I'm an Amy fan, but I think his version is so much better.

Paolo doesn't drink, he does smoke pot, openly. I suppose people insisted on this because his performance style and the crunchiness in his voice have changed considerably over the past two years. He did admit having a problem which is rather sad considering his young age.

Now having said that, Paolo is an amazing artist, very creative and full of feeling. Whether wasted or not, the outcome is beautiful. His life is his life, his music is great, just enjoy it.
