Hey there ! Very clear and well put together tutorial . Thank you! it helped allot . Iv gotten to the point where I can edit index in the Apache server , now I would like to use dream weaver to add content to the sight. could you do a tutorial showing how to add content through adobe?.

Thanks for your reply Yes, I ment LAMP server. I re-installed the FTP server and I was able to browse through the files! I also changed the chmod :).

Thank you very much for your video tutorial.
I do have one question. I have installed Virtualbox with Debian and succesfully installed MySQL and phpMyAdmin. Now I want to connect to my lamb server with FTP. Everytime I try to connect I get an error and when I can connect, I cant upload files.

@FattyAndFrango lamb server? I'm guessing you mean lamp server. Lamp doesn't come with FTP. Lamp is linux, apache, mysql, and php. You need to install an FTP to connect to if you haven't already.
I show how to setup an FTP server at 9:55 in this tutorial. Try to chmod the directory to 777 that you are trying to edit. You may need to chown it as well. Google chmod or chown.
