RULES: Re-create the famous Bela Lugosi speech ... SEE THE CHALLENGERS LINKS, click more.
THIS CHALLENGE for best Bela Lugosi interpretation from the classic scene in BRIDE OF THE MONSTER began with The Great Francois, at 6 years old. He sought to outdo Martin Landau's Oscar-winning recreation of this speech from Tim Burton's "ED WOOD" . So you see, there is a great lineage at work here.

HISTORY: I HAVE NO HOME
First came Bela Lugosi performing this classic scene in B-movie director Ed Wood's film "Bride of the Monster". Decades later came the movie "Ed Wood" by Tim Burton, with Johnny Depp starring as "Ed Wood", director of "Plan 9 From Outer Space" -- voted the worst movie of all time -- and Martin Landau co-starring as Bela Lugosi. "Ed Wood" chronicles the making of several of Ed Wood's B Movies, leveraging the remaining star power of Bela Lugosi after his career had been moving to its end. A key scene in the movie "Ed Wood" is when Bela Lugosi (played by Martin Landau in his Oscar-winning performance) is insulted by a crew member who called him a sidekick to Boris Karloff. Bela recoils "Karloff does not deserve to smell my s***!", prompting director Ed Wood to rush in to calm down the situation, asking Bela if he'd like to go outside with him to get some air -- "You seem agitated..." Bela booms: "Bull****! I'm ready now! Roll the camera!" .... The camera rolls -- and Bela performs his dramatic speech "Home? I have no home". The same speech is performed by Martin Landau as Bela Lugosi toward the end of the movie "Ed Wood". ...
