Pink Floyd - One Slip - Madison Square Garden - October 7th 1987.

Pink Floyd performing there first encore 'One Slip' at Madison Square Garden, New York on October 7th 1987. Most of this gig is already on Youtube,but i uploaded this track because it was not already here. No shots of the light show on this one,mostly close ups,mainly of David Gilmour,but other band members can be made out as well. I included the crowd footage at the beginning because i think it shows the anticipation of the American crowd really well. The build up is incredible, European audiences always seemed more reserved when it came to the Floyd than the American ones!
Look out for David Gilmour messing up the lyrics on the third line,then smiling at keyboard player/backing singer Jon Carin..!

How did you get this footage? Back then, people didn't have cellphones that could record everything like today?

I wish I could find footage of their performance in 94 at Joe Robbie Stadium when it rained so hard I thought the show would end but Floyd just played through the storm like nothing. Till this day, I will never forget that show in my life.

@moealagha Don't know who filmed it, wish I did! I just collect rare Floyd footage like this.. If you check my channel you will see I've uploaded C. Numb from Joe Robbie in 94, I have the whole show..!

That's true mate, europeans just seem to be more quiet when it comes to demanding the encore. (except the Balkan)....This is obviously an excellent crowd :)

Gawd those were the days.....I got goosebumps (rush), when the lights went out.

Great song too...one of my fav's. Just gets ya in the mood ya know :)
