What a sad personal story...Still, she seemed like such a dazzling person. Was she a major star in Japan? She had the aura of a real celebrity entertainer.

Japan Record Grand Prix (service prize) was won for longtime distinguished services.

She was always nice and gentle to the fan, the spectator, and the staff.

Nobody badly says her.

Often people and sick children who had the trouble were invited to her concert by her.

She was single all her life though she had kept singing for 50 years or more.

She encountered the traffic accident at 31 age, became a serious injury, suffered from hepatitis because of the transfusion at that time, became liver cancer afterwards, and struggled with illness.
