Shadow Thief

This is track #9 from 'Automatic' and was written and fully recorded in about 2/3 days. It is the last song I wrote for the album, but not the last one recorded. There are a couple of timing issues where I slip out of time/skip a couple of beat by accident, but oh well. It all adds to the demo-like quality of my sound (turning into my excuse for everything these days. :)

The lyrics are about watching a stranger secretly and getting the feeling that you know them really well just by observing them in a natural state. It is also about the passing of time, and shadows, which are featured again in the song 'Sleep in th Wild Flowers' later on in the album. Hope you like it :)
