Our Broadcast Services team did an amazing job mounting four cameras in six different positions throughout the trolley as it traveled down Hollywood Blvd to Buena Vista Street and back again. Buena Vista Street is simply grand <3

I'm so ecstatic to visit Buena Vista Street! One week and a day until my visit for my 18th birthday! I can't wait to ride the Red Car Trolley and possible dine at the Carthay Circle Restaurant, or at least the lounge. I'm excited to see Cars Land as well, but this grand entrance is just something that DCA had been desperately lacking, and from the pictures/videos I've seen and the reviews that I've heard, the finished product looks like a true gem that was worth the wait.

I'm thrilled to see a new vehicle based attraction in a Disney theme park. Something as simple as era-appropriate transportation traveling up and down the streets goes such a long way in terms of quality and authenticity. It's unfortunate that Main Street Vehicles are often overlooked in this sense. The conductor pointing out the various beautifully done buildings and elements of Buena Vista Street as being mere recreations undermines a bit all the effort put towards appearing authentic, though.

To those who have yet to see Buena Vista Street, I have one request...DO NOT compare it to Disney's Hollywood Studios. The only thing both parks have in common is the entrance.

Buena Vista Street was carefully thought out and designed to create Walt's L.A. of the 20s and 30s.

And with the real L.A./Hollywood up the road, you can't just throw together a generic "Hollywood-ish" street like they did at Disney's Hollywood Studios. It wouldn't pass approval here in Southern California.

DCA is finally a proper Disney Park... You just need to do this with the Walt Disney Studios Park in Paris now!!
