@BeepimajeepBeep , well depends on the crag to be honest. When on really good solid rock, helmets are not really necessary. However, I have been at some pretty crumbly crags with a lot of loose rock. I have had a few fist and foot ball sized rocks come down close to me. On my last trad climbing mission I had a fist sized loose rock come down and bounce right into my neck. @clevername333 I am jk lol. If he fell, he would be dead. I don't see the point of a helmet unless you are in caves or really tight spaces.
