BMW HYDROGEN Car Refuelling

Refuelling of the BMW hydrogen car.

This car is an internal combustion hydrogen car. BMW are leasing it out to 100 high profile users. Hydrogen can be obtained from oil, natural gas, and water. It can be obtained from water through electrolysis.

You may have heard on youtube of cars that run on water - there is no such thing as a car that runs purely on water.

You can buy kits that enable you to run your car on a mixture of water and gas by using the cars battery to convert the water into hydrogen. The efficiency of these kits is under much debate because it uses energy to extract the hydrogen from the water.

EIGHT Euro per one kg of hydrogen... it's something like 2-3 times more expensive in comparison to regular fuel. May be some day in the future...

I could here the hydrogen powered V12 a little at the end, but why not rev the piss out of it a little and show us how frick'n awesome it sounds. Isn't that the point of a V12...the sound it makes! Come on let's here it!

I swear these poindexters have no clue how important the sound of the exhaust is to sports car enthusiasts. They need to get a clue and rev the hell out of one these Hydrogen powered cars and watch what happens to the interest in their lab experiment.
