@ExitiumRock The grunge is in 1995. Times have changed and if you are capable you change to. I mean what bands that were "grunge" are still around and vital these days? Maybe Pearl Jam, possibly STP not really anymore than that. If Silverchair kept playing the same stuff they did in the 90's then they would be looking for another line of work these days.

Silverchair were never grunge...post-grunge maybe. And Young Modern is a great album..easily their most consistent.

although frogstomp was one of the cd albums I ever bought (prob one of first 10; I think blind melons no rain as casette may have been first music thing ever bought lol), i don't know enough about the band to know the members' names, but the lead vocalist looks pretty feminine and has a good voice. what is the status of silverchair these days btw? I remember that music vid cycling on mtv incessantly back in the day; scary but interesting.

@sonicvolta you couldn't be more right dude. This is damn near one of THE most difficult songs to sing live. Dan goes from falsetto to scream and back. Their writing continues to grow, signs of true greatness. Not the 3-chord, monotonal vocal, bullsh*t techno forced upon our aurals by all your younger sisters and their endless disposable income. I am a really old-scholl fan of Silverchair Grunge Times, but the "new age" only shows how much of a bad-ass musicians this guys are and how they have evolved! I honestly admire them! One of the greatest bands!!!!
