To make your children come back with you but make sure there is someone with your child so the social worker doesn't come. First step typed in boolprop testingcheatsenabled true then shift + click your sim when they have graduated and there at home go to add neighbors and search for your child

@thefabfour2 well, I'm a die hard Sims fan and no matter how much I love Sims 3, I always go back to Sims 2, the game I truly loved. I've played since Sims 1 and Sims 2 was always my favourite. And recently I went out and bought some of the Sims 2 add-ons I never had... i bet there are more people like me who prefer Sims 2... I know three people just in my group of friends...
