At the top of the backswing, Steve’s hips have turned too much to the right. A restricted hip turn is key to generating maximum power at impact. To deliver your most powerful strike at the ball, it is critical to combine a restricted hip turn with big shoulder turn, creating the strongest possible coil in your upper body, which your legs lead through impact. Steve is not hitting the ball as far as he could be.--GS.

Nice job, Wayne. I enjoy your perspective on these guys.

He hits the ball like Moe Norman. Hands in front of clubface at address. Right forearm on plane with club. The club drops below the plane on the downswing. Both feet on the ground at impact. Simple.

I wonder what your thoughts are on grip pressure...cause since I have changed to a much looser grip my accuracy has suffered but I have gained on avg. 30 yds on drives and about 15-20 on irons...hitting about 10-12 fways and 11-13 greens....Thanks keep up the good work!
I really enjoyed your video.

@wdefrancesco right handed golfer talking about the grip. I think that a tight grip is great. I recently switched to a shorter thumb and I feel that the club is more in the pinky, ring and middle finger of my left hand rather than deep in the fingers. This has helped me a ton in my transition to not loose the club behind me or under shaft plane on my downswing. Do you think that Striker uses a short thumb to constrict or tighten his backswing/transition at the top of his swing?

@TheMds269 That would make sense, for sure.

"If Tiger was doing this he'd throw up and say 'I'm stuck, I can't play'" lmao

@assclown2k6 Funny, but true. He always thought he got "stuck" while he was kicking everyone's ass.
