@JamesSCassidy And im thinking as he is telling us this and ive watched the other parts of ATP he's convincing and so they'll go out and continue 'history' funny how that works..they'll tell their buddies around the table at a bar their kids, coworkers and so on..
i guess the idea is history can be pretty interesting..even if its not all real..life's pretty boring but the game telephone makes the story better

@TheLittlewing22 I think you miss the point. The point is is that history is "based on a true story" and "when the legend becomes fact, print the legend." It could have happened like that, but it could have happened another way. Hell, 90% of our history is shrouded in mystery and people find more and more everyday to what historians believe is "truth." Just because there is "no known" or "no record" doesn't mean it "didn't happen."

Thanks for posting. I saw this for the first time yesterday on HBO!

Hilarious---not entirely historically accurate,BUT.....!
{well,the purpose of this was entertainment,not education}

@TheLittlewing22 nevermind.....my youtube stopped loading in the middle of that and once it loaded up I heard the end....that it doesn't matter.....

The origins of the middle finger and "fuck" are also wrong (like the claim about "Upset"). You can search "pluck yew" on snopes for the full explanation. Middle finger gesture has been around since Roman times. No known removal of fingers ever happened in those battles and the origin of "fuck you" is far differnt.
Still there is a lot of great stuff in this show...

anyone who skipped this class is an idiot

Now I know how "Pluck Me Yew" became "F*ck You".
