Freeze Protest

'Freeze' is a Super 8mm film from a protest against climate change on Vulcan Lane, downtown Auckland, New Zealand. It was an action organized by a group of people from around the country who had never met before. The group froze for 5 minutes from 1 to 1:05pm, as the rest of the city continued their movements. People unaware of the movement/freeze were perplexed by the halt of these breathing statues. Cameras filled the fingers of those speculating and confusion swept the crowd subtly by the statement of the event.
