i disconnected the OEM filter from the rest of the OEM intake pipe and it pretty much sounds the same when i accelerate lol.

i got the same engine ... but am curious if they have a draw back.. i heard that its good when driving long range but if u stuck in traffick all the heat from the engine makes it run different..... honestly idk .. and also if water gets onit it'll suck it up anddamge the intake... so tell me ... any problems on weather or just the car sitting there... wana make sure b4 i put one in mine

@lilgrip3 does your area flood or rain a lot? if it does i wouldn't risk it and go with SRI. i have a CAI on my 2000 accord v6 and it's been fine. got it almost a year ago.

cold air intakes suck dirt and water into your ride. but a cotton filter at least... they also hurt gas milage.

I got a short ram because it makes a much better sound, which u really can't hear from the camera. I'll make a video from inside the car driving, but yeah its way better with a vtec. Also if i drive over puddles, the cold air will suck in water causing the engine to hydrolock
