I got the blue (the day...) A long lost Beatles recording. A special thanks goes out to Al Einstein, whose Theory of Relativity, made the time travel needed to make this video possible. Please note: I recorded the vocal in a sound proof booth so none of The Beatles would hear the lyrics, and by doing so learn about the future and endanger the whole space time continuum thing. So if you watching this video, relax, the present is still here, and the past is still there. Another special note of thanks goes out to Unsurpasseduploader for sharing so many great "Rare", & "Imported" recordings with all us Youtube'ers! Yet another special note of thanks goes out to the Fab Four for letting me jam with them, as it had always been a life-long dream of mine. And lastly to my Wife and Kids for letting me out of the house and this time dimension long enough to record this video.

I got the blue (the day...)

Music By: The Beatles
Lyrics By: 5thBeatleRJ

I got the Blue the day the music died
I got the Blue the day the music died
Wasn't yet born but could hear my Momma cry

I got the blue the day John got gunned down
I got the blue the day John got gunned down
I hear he met Christ, and I pray he's heaven bound

I got the blue the day George lost his fight
I got the blue the day George lost his fight
When good a folk die somehow it don't sit's right

I got the blue the day them towers fell
I got the blue the day them towers fell
Some of them folks had time to bid farewell

I got the blue the day we went to war
I got the blue the day we went to war
Brave boys and girls was dying by the score

I got the Blue the day I left the band
I got the Blue the day I left the band
Playing for the Lord is a part of who I am

I got the blue the day my Daddy died
I got the blue the day my Daddy died
Ever since then can't find the boy inside

(Bridge)
Face on the floor prostrate and wonder why
Face on the floor prostrate and wonder why
Days like that make a grown man wanna cry
(Repeat backwards)

  • Right on brother! Bring up the vocals next time and go easy on the reverb, you sound good you don't need it.
