@MYALLCAPSRAGE im not calling you out. it SEEMS like theyre overpriced. but in this world, you get what you pay for. JL's about clarity and sounding good. not dbs. if you want dbs for cheaper go with alpine.

I'm not ripping on your shit, I like JL, but they are so overly priced it's ridiculous. You can buy less expensive subs and get better output.

@uglytiger23 running 1 15" earthquake dbxi controlled 20-65hz, and one image dynamics 12" idmax 45-160hz. listen to a large range of music, this is the eq setup i use the most though. the eq setup, sources, and enclosure designs are mostly responsible for my "sq" though. not saying jl is crap. far from it. but to say something so narrow... tsk tsk.

@MrCocksmooch69 lmfao. bet my "cheap" subs reproduce any sub-bass frequency more accurately than your JL's. I dont think JL is crappy, but I also dont think that even their reference class subs are the best in the world by far... and I actually like music.

@MrCocksmooch69 Dayton sells "cheap" subs and they'd wipe the floor with the W6's on a distortion, powerhandling, and sensitivity test easily. Plus what does bass with good "sound quality" sound like? Low extension? Quick transients? Sounds more like an enclosure problem than the subs themselves.
