We're not sure why the S10-3T responded so slow at first but it might have something to do with all those grimy fingerprints and being handled by alot of people. We were told that a person wearing gloves was suppose to demo but it's not always possible with people clamouring to see it.

We forgive the S10-3T it's apparent "bugginess" due to this fact. Judgement will be reserved for possible hands on demo.

We did notice that response was fine afterwards.

Notable features include 10.1" multi-touch LED screen that can be rotated 180 degrees converting to tablet style. Includes pre-installed Windows 7 operating system, 3G modem, GPS, up to 350 Gb HDD and cell battery

  • "optimized for touch" Uhh how long did it take to close that app? lol a bit laggy. I'll wait to see what others have to offer.

  • We were surprised too. Alot of people have been pawing the device which is not normal use. CES attracts over 100,000 people after all. It was responsive after so we're going to forgive them the "bug" for now.

Love the swivel and tablet style form. We haven't seen it in a netbook so far.

  • lol first fail is watching the guy trying to close that window epic fail.

  • lol 35 epic fail

  • @jeabreg

1000$, ok, but you miss the target anyway ... actually a touchscreen with flip screen can add easily (depending on what you have inside the machine, and the thickness you want) cost 300$ or more ... so you won't be able to sale a lot of these. If the Nokia is better and cheaper, buy a Nokia ...

  • @catseye64 I don't think $2000?! More like at the most $1000. The Nokia Booklet is very well built aside from that it doesn't have and touch screen capacity or flip screen feature and it's $599 and $299 with the AT&T wireless internet plan at Best Buy.

  • @jeabreg

It will increase the price too much ... the main market targeted is low cost machine below 500$ ... of course they could add a better touchscreen a faster CPU, more RAM and so on and you will get a 2000$ machine, perfect but out of target ...

  • @catseye64 Well they should put better software and or hardware then so it'll process faster!!! It seems like whoever makes these things don't know how to make these right. WTF!!!!

  • And it only takes 5 billion touches to exit out of a program (Come on Windows...). Also as you can see with their design they went with an oleophobic touch screen (for any non-nerds out there that means smudge resistant). Ha, this piece of crap is a joke compared to everything else.

  • He was drunk when he tried to close this window, that's all ;) ... also there is a little lag before you can switch from keyboard entry to full touchscreen on any Tablet.

  • I own this machine. It's not that slow. It's just that the window was so close to the edge of the screen he couldn't hit the x straight on.

  • i got the perfect name for this the

    Icrap
