a quote taken from Neil Postmans book 'amusing ourselves to death' to comment on our intellectual decline for more amusement please do check out my website: www.westrayart.com
My first reaction was to wonder why the video didn't slow down a little so I could process it better. But then I got the point. We are being forced-fed so much information and stimuli, and at such an incredible rate, that we don't have the time to really digest what we are being fed to determine if it is good and wholesome or stale and bad.
So how many of us watched the first minute of this video waiting for something to happen? Our media has warped our perception so much that we can sit in our seats with our eyes stuck on images of a string of words that fly by so fast we can't understand them and still wait for something "funny" to happen. Ha. HA.
