If you choose the three-year Economics and Business Economics Bachelor's degree programme at the University of Groningen you will see how policy makers and business experts attempt to stimulate economic and corporate activity, and at the same time try to mitigate potentially negative impacts, on the environment for example. This programme will give you the theoretical tools and the analytical skills needed to address complex and sometimes controversial issues. The programme is entirely
in English. During the first year all students take the same courses. At the end of year one, you will decide whether you will specialize in Economics or International Economics and Business.
